Peter Higgs

Peter joined nfpSynergy in July 2009 and works on both quantitative and qualitative projects for a range of clients, including Youthnet, WaterAid and Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Prior to joining nfpSynergy, Peter worked as an analyst at Bupa, responsible for providing key customer insights to improve the experience of Bupa members. He has also worked as a Research Manager at the Central Office of Information, commissioning and managing research projects on behalf of government departments and as a Senior Research Executive at Consumers’ Association/Which?

Peter has a BA in Social Policy and a Masters degree in Social Work, both from the University of Hull. He practised as a social worker for a number of years, working with a range of client groups in both community and hospital settings and is able to draw upon this experience when conducting research among hard to reach audiences. He has particular interests in health and social care policy, including developments such as the personalisation agenda and its impact on both service users and service providers in the statutory and voluntary sectors.
